Perioli Man Architects have been consultants for Montgomery Architects in the design and construction of some projects largely involving the refurbishment and/ or
extensions to listed buildings within Oxford and its university. Completed projects for which we undertook the detailed design and contract administration include the refurbishment & extension of The Stone's Building at The Stones Court Almshouses, St. Clements, Oxford (see our news page), the new Lecture Theatre & Teaching Rooms both for St. Edmund Hall, the refurbishment of both The South Wing and The Lutyens Building for Campion Hall and we have been involved with refurbishment works to the western range to the main quad and Dining Hall both for Corpus Christi College. We have recently been working in this capacity with Corpus Christi College on the re-roofing of The Old Lodgings within college. |

Perioli Man Architects were consultants for John Man's book, 'Xanadu', advising on and generating the CGI recreation of Kublai Khan's Pleasure Dome at Xanadu in Mongolia. This involved interpreting Marco Polo's first hand description of the dome ('...a great palace...all of canes...') and working closely with John Man and structural engineer Ben Godber, then of Expedition Engineering, to explore the possible construction details and techniques ultimately producing the complete form of the structure (see our news page). |
